About Dr. Angelika Selle

Dr. Angelika Selle is an internationally respected peace ambassador, educator, inspirational speaker, and the visionary founder behind a transformative movement dedicated to creating peace and reconciliation through heart-centered leadership. Over the course of her career, she has inspired countless individuals across diverse communities to connect with their higher selves, find purpose, and build bridges of understanding in their families, communities, and the world at large.


With over 40 years of experience in peacebuilding, Dr. Selle has served as the President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA (WFWP USA) and Vice President of WFWP International for North America. During her tenure (2010-2023), she initiated the Global Women's Peace Network (GWPN) across North America, uniting women leaders in the quest for global peace. Dr. Selle is recognized for her dedication to reconciliation, having worked in regions marked by division, including the United States, Africa, and the Middle East.

Dr. Selle’s remarkable contributions have been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Crown of Peace Award for “Exemplary Leadership in Reconciliation and Peacemaking.” Her commitment to racial and religious reconciliation has left an indelible impact on countless lives and communities worldwide.

Educational and Professional Background

Born in Pforzheim, Germany, Dr. Selle pursued studies at the University of Freiburg before answering a personal calling to be a peace leader and positive change agent. Early in her career, she worked with government officials, edited magazines (Neue Hoffnung and Today’s World), and even served as an elementary school teacher in Maryland.

In 1983, she moved to the United States with her husband, Robert Selle, and began a life of dedication to peace and community work. Dr. Selle is a proud mother of four children and a grandmother to four, bringing her family values into her mission of building stronger, peace-centered communities.
